Daily Routines
At Munchkins Village Nursery, we have a good understanding of children’s lives and their social contexts, basing our teaching around them. Supporting and encouraging personality development, autonomy and creativity are top priorities for us. Developing social interaction and understanding differences in others also plays an important role in our work, and in promoting fundamental British values.
A daily routine gives children a sense of security. This is why we ensure each day is properly structured, while leaving enough time for spontaneous activities.

Our Promise
We provide parents with peace of mind, safe in the knowledge that their child is in a ‘home from home’ and that they're happy, healthy and most importantly, safe.
We believe that every child is special and we will love, respect and nurture their natural curiosity and will support their ongoing development.
Parents are our customers and therefore have a strong input into every aspect of our nursery.
We welcome and encourage partnerships with parents, to further understand every child’s needs and to support parents as the first educators of their children.
*** PARENT RECOMMENDATIONS ***
Below are some examples of parent recommendations Munchkins are proud to have received.
Sian – 4 year old daughter
Our Daughter has just finished four fabulous years at Munchkins. She had three amazing key workers - Charlotte, Laura and Kerry and has had great relationships with many of the other staff. She has grown into a kind, confident, happy child and we can’t thank Munchkins enough. We will miss you.
Leona – 4 year old daughter
Can’t fault this nursery, Emily has come on amazingly. As a child with additional needs the time that’s needed to be spent on her for simple tasks and Physio is second to none. Emily loves her time there.
Jenny - 3 year old son
Alison – 2 year old son
I have to say this is an excellent nursery, I leave him knowing he will have a wonderful fun filled day - he is learning so much the staff are amazing. He comes home doing so many creative fun activities, he loves it and is so happy. He has special health needs, they meet all his requirements totally, they ease me knowing they care and love him. I highly recommend this wonderful, fun loving happy nursery.
Tasha - 3 year old son
My little boy goes here, and he LOVES it. It's all he talks about, that and his new best friend! The whole atmosphere is so welcoming and professional. My son wouldn't go anywhere else. Thanks Munchkins.
Lynn - 3 year old son
The first thing out of my sons mouth each morning is " am I going to my nursery today?" Highly recommended as a fun friendly safe place. Not got a bad word to say :)
December 2014 - Munchkins obtained the 'Step into Quality' award.
This is an important Industry benchmark award presented by Lancashire County Council to those Childcare provisions that consistently provide high standards of Educational care that is vital to support the successful implementation of the Early Years Framework Stage. (EYFS)
